

Hazel Elizabeth Williams, 75 of Liberty Hill, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009 after a lengthy battle with Lymphoma. The family will gather for a graveside service at 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at The Liberty Hill Cemetery, Liberty Hill, Texas. Hazel was born April 24, 1933 in Burnet, County to the late Claude Simpkins and Addie Floyd Simpkins. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Bertha Cox and Fannie Rampy. Hazel married Chester Williams on July 22, 1950, and they began their life together. She enjoyed working at Meridell Achievement Center for over 25 years, sharing her love with the kids and staff. She was a long time member of the Liberty Hill Church of Christ. Hazel leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 58 years, Chester Williams; her children, Pam Williams, Randy Williams and wife Karen, Diane Wacker and husband Mike, Quint Williams and wife Kim, Amber Ward and husband Mason; sisters, Lela Wright, Nora Simpkins, Grace Williams and husband J.B.; grandchildren, Stacia Holmes, James Cox and wife Darbie, Trisha Holmes, Hunter Williams, Grayson Williams, Elias Ward and Oliver Ward; great grandchildren, Colton and Mackenzie Grumbles, Cami Rohrbach, Riley Cox and Jillian Cox; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
