
Jim, a man of unwavering courage and a heart full of love, went to be with Jesus on August 29, 2023, at the age of 73 in Georgetown, TX. Despite facing serious medical challenges in recent years, Jim’s indomitable spirit and infectious smile remained a testament to his resilience in confronting life’s trials. Through pain and adversity, Jim emerged as a true hero, showcasing his remarkable strength until the very end.
Jim’s adventurous spirit was evident from a young age. His love for baseball was a constant throughout his life. He was a player, coach, and a loyal fan of the San Diego Padres. This passion for the game reflected his dedication and commitment in all aspects of life.
In the journey of life, Jim found his soulmate in Michele. Their love story was one for the ages, a tale of devotion and companionship. They were blessed with 50 years of marriage. Jim’s role as a husband and father was characterized by selflessness and unwavering support, creating a foundation of love that enriched the lives of those around him.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Army, and his community as a compassionate medical professional. His commitment to others was an embodiment of his kind and giving nature. Jim was a devoted servant of the Lord.
Jim is survived by his wife, Michele, sons Jeff (Angie), Joe, Jerry (Belinda), and Jonny (Amanda); grandchildren Maranda, Marissa, Megan, Andrew and Lucas, and sister Lynn.
A Celebration of Life will be held at City View Bible Church in Round Rock on Sunday, September 3, 2023 beginning at 4 PM.
