

She was born on September 22nd, 1938 in Liberty Hill, Texas to James Ernest Owen, and Etna Mae Cole Owen. Wilma, the third oldest among her siblings, cherished a family bond with twin sisters Billie and Bobbie, twin brother and sister Jimmy and Margaret, brother Tommy, sisters Dorothy and Maydale.
A dedicated professional, Wilma graduated from Florence High School, and pursued a career as an office manager at Compton Motors, later Don Hewlett Chevrolet, where she dedicated an impressive 52 years!
In 1954, fate led her to Carroll Axel Johnson, her beloved husband for 65 years. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters Christine and Janet.
Wilma adored her role of Granna to her six grandchildren Lindzey, Jason, Jerod, Dustin, Jordan, and KayLee! Later, she cherished her great grandchildren, Rhyder and Rhylynd Rosipal, Axel and Avery Andrews, and Ramsie and Radley Rosipal.
Extending her happiness beyond immediate family, Wilma deeply valued the presence of bonus grandchildren. She found fulfillment in family gatherings and the precious moments shared with her brothers and sisters.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, Carl Axel and Hannah Johnson. Her sister Bobbie Moore. She leaves behind a loving legacy survived by her husband Carroll Axel Johnson, two daughters Christine Rosipal and her husband Tony, Janet Caluette and her husband Russell. Her grandchildren, Lindzey Sandefur, Jason Rosipal and his wife Jamie, Jerod Rosipal and his wife Kaci, Dustin Andrews and his wife Christin, Jordan Rosipal and his fiancé Casey Eggers, KayLee Andrews Squilla and her husband Michael, her great grandchildren Rhyder and Rhylynd Rosipal, Ramsie and Radley Rosipal, Axel and Avery Andrews, Tyeler and Pecos Eggers, Aunt Gladys Owen, her brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilma’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and is a testament to a life well lived and a love that endures beyond the earthly realm.
