This would be November 9, 2000 at my dad's place in Huntington Harbor for Grandma's 83rd birthday.   Grandma passed away that December.

This is my dad and Aunt Barbara up at camp in NY.  I remember my 3 aunts (Barbara, Jeanne, Marcia), whom I thought were all beautiful and fun back in the camp days.  Jeanne and Marcia were actually my 2nd cousins once removed, but we called them "Aunt".  Such great memories in my early youth (circa 1966)

Sadly, when we moved from NJ to CA (sometime around 1970), we no longer did much with dad's side of the family.  The Hamiltons were in CA but they lived far, and I lived with mom.  At Christmas time for many years, we'd see them at dad's.  Once I graduated from high school, I lived out of the state more than in state.  There would be rare occasions when we'd get together.  At my mom's wedding to Duncan Taylor, at my wedding, at Webb's wedding, at Uncle Bob's funeral, etc.  It wasn't like the NJ days where we'd go to camp every summer and be together.  In any case, I regret not really having relatives (cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents) nearby growing up.  Something to think about as my only grandchildren (3) are in Panama with my son-in-law and daughter with the foreign service.  Sadly, they will also not grow up with extended family nearby.  Thankfully, we have the Internet, Facebook and zoom to bridge the gaps somewhat, but it's still not the same as gathering around a camp fire at the beach or at camp with family.  I'll miss aunt Barbara and uncle Bob, but at the same time I believe in great plan of salvation, the wonderful gift of the resurrection and the hope and promise of life much better than this one where we can be together again as families, without the burden of long distances.  Those who come and depart before us and after us will all be able to mingle together as the bonds of family and love unite us.  Rest in peace Aunt Barbara until that great day that our bodies shall reunite with our spirts,  My love and condolences go out to Lisa and Kaylee as they navigate the rest of this life without their parents and grandparents.

I only have a few old photos of Aunt Barbara that I inherited from when Grandma (Laura Teller, Barbara's mother) passed away, which I straight way scanned and saved to the cloud.  I believe this one was taken in CA (circa 1970)
