She married Robert G Johnston (b.1924, d.1993) in 1950 in Los Angeles, California they had three children.
Betty was a devoted christian who loved the Lord, so the Lord took her to be with him on the first day of summer June 21, 2018, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her three children, Barbara, Beverly and Robert B Johnston and by her five grandchildren Atticia, Christopher, Jonathan, Terrence and Kevin and a great-grandson Michael and several nieces and nephews.
