Blanca Estela (Benitez) Adami, age 66, passed peacefully at home on Sunday, December 26, 2021 after a heroic 18-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Loving mother of Arash (Rebecca) Adami, and Azita Melody (Sean) Hickey; grandmother of Layla, August, and Estela; sister of Miriam Valiferdowsi, Margarita Mouhebaty, Julio Benitez, Oscar Benitez, and Saul Benitez; daughter of the late Celso Rivas and Candida Benitez and preceded in death by 1 sister, Patricia Benitez.
Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life and burial on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 9:00am at Oakdale Mortuary and Memorial Park, Glendora, CA, USA. Reception to follow at Finkbiner Park picnic tables at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, Estela directly requested memorial contributions be made to her grandchildren's college fund. Arash and Melody have pledged to match the total amount donated to pancreatic cancer research in memory of their mother.
