Carol Ann Prentice (June 21, 1952 – February 11, 2026) was beautiful — not just in appearance, but in the way she loved. Her beauty radiated through her unwavering support, her heartfelt advice (whether you asked for it or not), and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel remembered and celebrated.
Carol was never late for anything and she never missed a birthday, Christmas, or anniversary. If it mattered to you, it mattered to her. She had a gift for showing up — with a card, a phone call, a thoughtful word, or simply her steady presence. Her grandchildren knew beyond a doubt that they were deeply loved, adored — and thoroughly spoiled — just as any grandchild should be.
Music was never far from Carol, and neither was joy. If her playlist was on, she was dancing — in the kitchen, the living room, or anywhere that could double as a dance floor. Those who loved her will always picture her moving to her favorite songs, smiling, carefree, and fully herself.
Carol is survived by her sons, Jason Dibelka (married to Amy) and James Charles Dibelka (married to Erin); and her beloved grandchildren: James Charles Dibelka Jr., Abbey Rose Dibelka, Madison Jane Dibelka, and Luke Edward Dibelka.
Above all, Carol’s greatest legacy is the love she created. It lives on in the family she nurtured, the traditions she kept alive, and the countless small moments where she made others feel seen, supported, and cherished. Her love was constant, generous, and unforgettable — and it will continue to surround those she leaves behind.
