Cindy is the best person I have ever met. She was my fiance when she passed away. I will never again have a chance to have someone as beautiful and loving as she. It's been more than 2 years since she went to heaven, to be with our Lord. I am still full of love for her, that's never going to change. She loved her daughter more than words can say. Cindy really cared about her family and friends. 
I am sure that she is enjoying her new life in heaven. Someday, I will be with her, having a great time just being there, sharing our new life.
What a great lady she is.

Cindy and I grew up together on Ardilla Ave in West Covina. She lived two doors down.
I remember the day the Hernandez family moved in. I remember seeing her, Rene and Andrew in the street. I wondered who the mysterious girl with the long black hair was. I was surprised she was two years older than me because she was so tiny.
We spent countless hours together. Cindy went to jr high before  me and then on to high school too. I would sit transfixed every afternoon as she gave me the lowdown on the "big kids" in her grade. Who was popular, who was not, the boyfriends and girlfriends etc.... I really felt like I had a leg up! lol 
We'd talk about spooky things too. I remember doing Bloody Mary  and scaring the heck out of ourselves.
One Memory that hit  me right after her service was something I'd never thought of consciously. Out of nowhere I remembered the way her hair smelled. After school, whenever I came over her hair was usually wet and in a towel. Every time she took that towel off and started to brush it I would get a big whiff of lemons!  I can almost smell it now. 
Growing up, Cindy was one of my best friends and she'll always be in my heart.

I have a lot of memories of my aunt Cindy.  The one that happen often was when i would pull up in front of the house and if she was in her room, she would look out her window to see who it was and i loved it.  Once she would do that, I knew she was home and I couldn't wait to go in the house to see her.  Also at night, I would be walking down the hallway and she would come out of the bathroom and have a face mask on and we would just  start laughing.  Best memory ever is her laugh.  I loved hearing it and she always made me laugh.  One day she also told me to take my video camera and lets go on a ghost hunt.  It was aunt Cindy, John, and I.  It was an adventure and was so so much fun!  We also went to the gym one time together and we had so much fun there too.  There is so many memories I have of my aunt Cindy and I and all of them are the best.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.  Cindy brought so much joy and laughter to my life.  During Cindy's short stay in Texas, she, Gayla and I were inseparable. We had the best time working and hanging out together. Cindy's laugh was infectious and always lifted our spirits. I am thankful I had the opportunity to reconnect with her in June 2017 after 30 years.  I love and miss you my friend.  God Bless.
