David was such a nice person always happy smiling and joking with me he will be missed rip

My uncle David  so many memories of this man but one that I will never forget even though I was so young, is he use to babysit me and my brother Tommy. He had the biggest smile in the world and always made us laugh. Love you uncle David.

I am so  blessed, upon moving to our neighborhood, to have met David in 2000 . He was immediately welcoming and neighborly. His sense of humor and disposition made for  fun conversations and old- fashion chats  in front of his home. The times he and his family invited me into their world provided opportunities to form genuine personal bonds. I am grateful to have met him and to have memories of him that bring a smile to my face. May you Rest In Peace David.

I didn’t know Mr. Martinez well until one evening when my street came together as a community and participated in a “night out” on our porches and driveways. It was on the late-ish side, the sun had set, and I had spent a lovely evening visiting with neighbors and new friends.  The cherry on the cake was a BBQ in Mr. Martinez’ driveway, where I met up with my husband and mother who were already there, having a great time.  Mr. Martinez, I later found out, was his regular self that night, cracking jokes and making everybody laugh. It was a lovely evening indeed and his presence will be truly missed on our street. 

One of many memories of my Dad, was when He took me to the horse races at Santa anita race track with him and his friends from work. They all asked me to pick a horse and I did. My horse won the race and they all won big money. They took me to the store and bought me what ever I wanted. When my mom found out she wouldn't let my dad take me anymore. But it was a fun kid adventure with my Dad. Lol.
