Apa, it's almost one year that you've been gone. I always remember when you were so happy at Linda Rosa. You always had a good attitude. I remember you always smelled like aftershave. Always eating an apple or carrot when you were unpacking your groceries. You worked so hard for your children to have everything we had. You and mom were the best parents anyone could ask for. I know life is short and we take things for granted. We don't say I love you as much as we should,but I know you knew. Rest In Peace my wonderful PARENTS!

It's been a year since Our Heavenly Father took you to Himself. 4th of July will always be a reminder to me even though you passed on the 8th. 5 years ago, you were on route to Manuel's and my casita. Independence Day, in so many ways. I remember when I was a child, I would ask you for money for fireworks and you'd tell me that it was like lighting a $ bill on fire. Of course I didn't understand back then, but now I do. I love and miss you Pops. I know, I know, stop being a wimp and suck it up, huh? You are sharing Gods Table with Moms, Leo, Yolanda, Lil Max, Tata, Nanas, and all our loved ones whom I miss dearly as well. In Jesus Name. Amen.

4 days till Fathers Day 2013, You're sharing The Lords Table and I continue to remember you and your smile, the way you allowed me to care for you in your last days. I know it was a hard task for you in the beginning because you were used to being the caregiver. Which you were until you turned 79 years old. I believe that God brought us together so that I could care for you and bond again as Father and daughter. I thank God for that because we were apart for so many years, but my memories of you growing up in your house are priceless and unforgettable. You were such a wonderful Father and I'm sure that you received your crown as soon as  you got to heaven. I love and miss you Pops. Happy Fathers Day.

We had a big attendance who showed up in this side of Cali. It was so nice. After a few days later while I was caring for you, you commented to me that no one had ever done anything like that for you before, so at that time I made it a point to celebrate your Birthday. Pops you are so missed. Sal never stops talking about you.Thank you for being the best Father to us.You always worked so hard for us and always took  time to take us cruising every single day and out for a cone or bite to eat, when we were children. Just the way you carried yourself. Such an awesome person. I thank God for allowing me to be your daughter. We deeply love, miss and appreciate you.You will live in our hearts forever.
