

Florencia C. Tirado peacefully passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on October 15, 2025.
Born on April 20, 1949, in Matamoros, Coahuila, Mexico, Florencia lived a remarkable life. She came to the United States courageously dreaming of a better life. Her hard work, resiliency, and tenacity allowed her to achieve her dream. Her life was one worth living, full of loving relationships; adversity and success; travel and adventure; song and dance; along with a legacy of compassion and wisdom.
Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Florencia was the proud mother of Dora, Elizabeth, Susana, and Daniel; beloved grandmother to Cindy, Savannah, Nathan, Ethan, Ian, Jace, and Danielito; and adored great-grandmother to Jayden and Damian. Her family was her greatest source of pride and happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She enjoyed socializing, dancing, gardening, decorating, traveling, and finding great deals. She took great pride in developing her English skills and always strived to improve. Florencia was truly the life of every gathering — always ready to dance, laugh, and celebrate the moment. Her kindness, outgoing nature, and vibrant energy will be remembered by all.
After two decades as an entrepreneur, Florencia found great fulfillment and joy working in the hospitality industry for 25 years. Her warmth and friendliness touched countless individuals throughout her career. She had a gift for making friends everywhere she went.
A visitation will be held to honor Florencia’s life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. at Oakdale Mortuary, located at 1401 South Grand Avenue, Glendora, CA 91740. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate her beautiful life.
Florencia’s love, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
