First time I saw you when you visit the Philippines . You’re a kind hearted , loving  caring man . Your family and us surely miss You .

Here he is with my daughter Julia when she was younger coming to my house to pick up his GS cookies. I offered to take them to his house and he said no I need to get out of my house lol. You will be missed Mr. McGehee 🙏

I will miss you greeting me at family parties with your sweet hugs & “Hello Sugar” or “Hello Darlin’.”  We shared a love of reading and you would recommend books for me to read.  I will hold the memories of all the summers spent at your house & scolding us for messing with your book or Nutcracker collection close to my heart.  Until we meet again… Love u Ninong Fred.

Ninong Fred, when I asked you to be one of our Sponsors in our wedding, you asked what is the role of a “sponsor.”  My first answer was “Well, you have to wear a tuxedo.”  You laughed & said “There might be a little more to being a sponsor.”  Then I thought about it and said “You also have to help Eric and I throughout our marriage.  You know, give us advice when needed and help us through our marital journey.  Oh and we’ll start calling you Ninong because you’ll be our Godfather now.” He replied “OK, I’ll be your Sponsor at your wedding then.”  I’ll always remember that conversation because even when I was a kid, you would always have meaningful conversations with me.  You never wanted just yes or no answers. And you hated when I would answer “I don’t know.”  I’ll miss our conversations during family parties.  Love u Ninong.

Both of my kids had Mr. Mcgehee as their teacher and he was absolutely wonderful.  What a good man he was.  He changed lives for the better, one kid at a time.  His sense of humor and relatability made him one of their favorites.  He’ll be missed for sure.   So thankful both of my children got to experience his love and kindness.   My heartfelt condolences to his family.  ❤️

The Fred Duncan Extended Family sends its condolences to cousin Freddie's family.  We know he will be missed very much.

Memory:  Cousin Freddie was always fun, generous, and liked his younger cousins.  As we were growing up, he paid attention to us, made us feel important, and shared favorite books and movies with us.

When Freddie gave our 6 year old brother a set of bongos, he made our brother very happy for the rest of that vacation!
