Jacqueline Fortugno

On Monday 3/2/2020 Jacqueline Berthe Fortugno, Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, went to Heaven at the age of 86.

Jacqueline was born on 7/10/1933 in Montreal Canada. Her parents were Armand & Jeanne Langlois. She had 1 brother Pierre who passed away in 2015 and 1 sister Suzanne who lives in Canada.

She met the Love of her Life, Denis Fortugno, while working at Dumont, TV store in 1955. They were married on 2/4/1956 in Montreal Canada and within the year moved to California. They had 4 children, Pierre, JoAnn, Mark, and Bobby. Mark was premature and went to Heaven a few days after birth.

In 1965 they bought a house in Covina, CA where they laid their roots.

Jacqueline was a stay at home Mom raising the 3 kids. She loved animals – cats, dogs, birds, geckos, you name it. There was not a day in her adult life that she did not have a pet. Her last surviving pet is her cockatiel Boy who will miss her so much.

She spent time babysitting her grandchildren. She enjoyed this very much and so did they.

She loved to play scrabble, cards, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, calligraphy, knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, and most recently she enjoyed playing games on the computer and socializing on FaceBook. Everyone loved her funny and cute posts.

We will miss her dearly but know that she lives on in her Children and their Spouses Peter & Fran, JoAnn & Haley, and Bobby & Cindy, her 8 Grandchildren Tina, Nicole, Marcus, Danielle, Christina, Caitlyn, Megan, and Mathieu and her 9 Great Grandchildren Sierra, Victor, Chloe, Serina, Dylan, Jasmine, Isaiah, Julian and Palmer plus 1 on the way - Baby Fortugno.

She will be missed by many family and friends, here and in Canada.
