Jesus Quezada

He was surrounded by his loving wife and children. Jesus has passed into God’s glory joining his beloved daughter Maria de Jesus Quezada, his two brothers Ruben and Fermin Quezada and his parents Felicitas and Jesus Quezada.

Jesus was born June 2, 1942 in Zacatecas, Mexico, to his late parents Jesus and Felicitas Quezada. He was the third oldest of 12 siblings. His five brothers are: Fermin, Pablo, Francisco, Ruben, and Manuel. His six sisters are: Elena, Guadalupe, Maria, Josefina, Socorro and Abelina.

Jesus came to the United States as a young man in search of the American dream, and successfully worked very hard for a better future. It was on one of his visits back to Mexico that he met the love of his life, Cruz Armas.

Jesus and Cruz Quezada married May 4, 1968. They had six daughters and one son, and celebrated 57 wonderful years together, raising their children with much love. Jesus was an exceptional and supporting husband, a great and dedicated father, and a wonderful grandfather. He was very uplifting and always had good advice and guidance for his kids. He loved to play and joke around with his grandkids. He always took good care of his family, and he was always there to help when others needed him. He will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, and husband who deeply cherished the time he spent with his family.

Jesus was known for his love of music, singing, and dancing. He would compose his own songs and would often dance around the house, brightening the day and bringing a smile to everyone around him. He loved to garden, spending most of his time outdoors tending to his plants and flowers. One of the songs he composed was about him being a gardener who loved his beautiful flowers. Jesus also loved climbing his trees. At the age of 83 he could still be found outside climbing the trees that brought him so much joy. He also had a love of birds and would enjoy feeding them every morning. Jesus loved his life and did the things that made him happy.

Jesus Quezada continues to live through his loving wife, Cruz Quezada, and his six

children: Sylvia, Edel, Leticia, Lilia, Ruben, and Erica. His 13 grandchildren:

Jasmine, Jessica, Eliajah, Ariel, Andres, Jaqueline, Jade, Leyla, Omar, Paris, Ethan, Melody and Anthony. As well as his great grandchildren: Alliyah and Addalyn.

Jesus was the rock of his family. He will forever be in our hearts, deeply missed, remembered, and loved.
