Juan Ruiz Chafino

Juan Ruiz Chafino, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away at home peacefully on March 21, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born October 31, 1950, in Ensenada, Mexico to Father Juan Janina Chafino from Barcelona Spain and Mother Maria Ruiz Romero from San Juan Los Cabos, Mexico.

Juan was a devoted family man, deeply committed to his wife of 51 years, Guillermina and their three children, Juan Jr., Sandy and Erik. He was a pillar of strength and a constant source of support, guiding his family with unwavering love. A God-fearing man, teaching his family to trust in God and walk in faith. Juan’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his four grandchildren, Merissa, Joseph, Joshua, Maraya and great grandson Theo.

Juan will be fondly remembered for his kind and generous spirit, always thinking of others. His warm sense of humor and his remarkable ability to bring laughter to those around him. Beyond his immediate family, he loved spending time with his brothers and sister in laws, nieces and nephews and his church family and friends. Juan touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him and leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and compassion. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those who knew him.
