Lawrence B. Maag

Lawrence B. Maag, known as Larry to his loved ones, passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2025, in Corona, CA. He was 59 years old. The cause of his passing is still pending.

Larry is survived by his mom, Julia Hutchinson of Norton Ohio; his loving wife, Beatrice Maag; their children, Jessica, Bryan, and Justin; and his cherished grandchildren, Madisyn, Hudson, Edward, and Caleb.

Born on September 27, 1965, in Ohio, Larry graduated from Barberton High School in 1983 before proudly serving in the U.S. Navy. It was during his time at the Long Beach Naval Base that he met his wife Beatrice at a softball tournament. They married in 1991 and built a beautiful life together, welcoming their children—Jessica in 1992, Bryan in 1997, and Justin in 2001.

Larry was deeply loved by family and friends. His bright smile was unforgettable, and his strong loud presence stood out amongst all crowds. He was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying hard work and dedication to care for those around him. He most enjoyed receiving thanks in the form of his favorite tall can beverage.

A memorial service will be held on February 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Oakdale Memorial, followed by a celebration of life at the Oaks residence. (1107 S Wilson Dr, West Covina, Ca 91791) Please come dressed comfortably, Larry was known for never dressing in formal clothing.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
