Marcia Lynn Ervin Nelson, age 79, earned her wings to Heaven prematurely on Monday, November 14, 2023. She is dearly missed by her 2 Children, 6 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the rest of her family and life-long friends. Marcia grew up in El Monte, California and was the Reunion Chairperson of the "Class of 1961 El Monte Union High School". She made homes in Temple City, Covina, Glendora and Apple Valley, California.

For years I watched the sunset and the sunrise.
For me to leave you has caught me by surprise.
Was I ready to leave? Well, the answer is definitely “NO!!!”
The decision was not mine to make, whether I was to stay or go...
My pride shines brightest through my son and daughter, and in their loving families, who are my legacy...
This journey called “Life” is more precious that silver or gold.
And it is true, no one has ever measured how much Love one’s Heart can hold.
So please celebrate the cherished times we had together, and the beautiful memories that we shared... as it shows me just how much you cared.
Remember me fondly, please do not cry...
