Maria Gibbs

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a cherished friend to all who knew her. She was born on January 2, 1928, in Fontana, California.

The most important thing in her life was her family.

Her true self shone through her dedication and commitment to her family’s well-being.

Her essence was characterized by her kindness and devotion toward them, especially her brothers and sisters including all those who knew her.

She lived a full life, and we thank her for all she sacrificed for us.

She was with us through ups and downs, through happiness and sadness. She is the strongest person we’ve ever met.

She will be greatly missed by all, but her memory will live on in us all forever.

We love you so much mom, we will miss you more than words can say. We will carry on each day knowing you’re still watching over us.

A visitation for Maria will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oakdale Mortuary, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740. A committal service will occur Friday, August 8, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Oakdale Mortuary & Memorial Park, 1401 S Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740.
