He was born in San Luis Obispo, California on February 20, 1943. He was employed by Southern Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad at the age of 18. He worked as a Foreman Welder until he retired.
He leaves behind his children Marty A Rodriguez Jr, Barbara Rodriguez, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Carrie Rodriguez, Ray Silva, Kenny Silva, Lawrence Rodriguez, Michel Rodriguez-Avalos, Benny Rodriguez, Tricia Lemus, Mario Alegria, Claudia Sanchez, 35 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo Rodriguez and Felicia Corral, his siblings Severo Corral, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Benny Rodriguez and his sons Michael Rene Silva and Carlos Anthony Martinez.
The funeral will be held at Oakdale Mortuary at 1401 S. Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740. All family and friends are welcome.
Viewing will be held on January 6, 2026 5pm-8pm and the
Burial on January 7, 2026 at 11:00am.
