

Michael was born on December 10, 1944, in Stockton, California. He was the son of Michael and Betty Miniaci.
Michael graduated from Franklin High School, following his graduation he continued his education at Biola University, and many other institutions.
Michael had a passion for history. He wrote in his journal as a young boy, "at 7 years old I became interested in history. The Trojan War, Ancient Greece, The Civil War, and so much more."
Michael worked in Orange County as a Historic Park Ranger, working at George Key Ranch, Yorba Cemetery, and Peralta Adobe. Michael encouraged the members of the Yorba and Peralta families to form a group, thus becoming the Santa Ana Canyon Historic Council (SACHC).
Mike joined the Civil War Reenactment group where he made lifetime friendships. Jon and Ezzy Reed are still active today.
Michael wrote several books about the families he met when restoring some of these sites.
Michael was a loving son, husband, brother, and friend.
