Remembering Mom and all the love she has for all her children.


Grandma, thank you. thank you for all the memories. The summers and winters we visited you when I was little, and you were eager to spoil me no matter what my dad said. For the 4 years you lived with us. Thank you for the times we hung out on the couch laughing at the tv. For singing along to the music I liked. For the motherly advice. For all the puzzles we did and dominoes we played. For the hand sewn decorations I’ll always treasure. For loving my kids. For your sweet spirit that accepted and loved on everyone.
Most of all grandma, thank you for the legacy you’ve left for the generations that have come after you. For being the matriarch & glue that kept our family connected. for choosing God for our family.  For instilling those values into my dad who instilled them in me so I can instill them in my kids and they in theirs. For being the best example of a hardworking mother who loved God and loved her family. I am blessed and proud to call you grandma. I’m glad I can smile because I know You are in the loving care of the Heavenly Father you loved. Grandma, you are loved and treasured in our hearts until we see you again 

Pauline was a wonderful example of a Christian woman.  She walked the walk and talked the talk.  She was one of the founders of the Silvercrest Bible Study in Tulare, CA when the building first opened in 2006.  She and a group of ladies prayed for the residents and the Silvercrest Administration regularly.  She also was very helpful with crafts.  I remember when she led a group of ladies in making "candle arrangements" for the window sills at Christmas.  We wrapped shiny wrapping paper around toilet paper rolls and glued them to cardboard and decorated to make it look like snow around the bottom.  I was amazed at how she could do all that regardless of the severe arthritis in her hands.  

I had the pleasure of meeting some of Pauline's children and grandchildren.  She raised a beautiful family  that I am sure will miss her loving guidance in their lives.
