Sam... you will be forever missed. I actually remember the first time I met you... It was at Renew - your best friend Kayley introduced us after service was over. I'll never forget your big, beautiful, warm smile. In the very few times we interacted and in the weekend we got to spend with you in Vegas last summer with the gang, Kevin and I really appreciated your friendliness, kindness, and positivity. We got to see a side of you that loved to have fun and be the life of the party, and we also got to see a side of you that wanted to just lay low, curl up, and watch anime. We really loved your mere presence. You were life-giving. 
 
Kevin and I were crushed upon first hearing the news of your passing and we're still trying to process it all and find meaning and purpose in this. Your loss is felt by so many, Sam - more than you know. I think of all of the big milestones and even the slow, mundane days from now on that won't be the same without you for the countless people who hold you close to their hearts. I wish we had more time together, I wish I could've gotten to know you better, I wish I could've chatted with you longer in the times you were right in front of me. Knowing what I know now, I wish I could've told you how much you matter... we want you to stay... and that you are infinitely loved. 

Losing you will not be in vain. I will honor you by sharing and spreading kindness, positivity, and love to those around me just like you did for others around you. 

So much love for you, Sam. Kevin and I will never forget you.

Words cannot explain the pain I’m feeling for you right now. I am so sorry for your loss. Sam was like a sister to me growing up; she was someone I looked up to and thought was so beautiful and funny. I’m sending love and hugs to AJ and everyone. I’m so sorry.
