Sylvia Ann Mazzeo

Sylvia Ann Mazzeo was born June 30, 1940, in Scranton Pennsylvania, and passed away January 14, 2021. Sylvia is survived by her children, Nicholas William Mazzeo, Annette Marie Mazzeo, Elizabeth Ann Mazzeo, Sylvia Lynn Ray, and Sara Yvette Mazzeo. Sylvia has five grandchildren, Elizabeth Ray, Sylvia Ray, Samantha Mazzeo, Andrew Mazzeo, and Gianna Gamboa, with one great grandchild, Leah Ray. Sylvia moved around all throughout her childhood, and finally settled down in Southern California when she was a young adult, where then she met her husband, Pasquale Mazzeo, and married him on January 17, 1961, and then ultimately Pasquale passed away right after her on January 14, 2021.

Sylvia Mazzeo was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved playing the piano and sang in the church choir for many years. She enjoyed reading historian autobiographies, mysteries, and fictional pieces, as well as playing games. She valued her family, loved her children, and always put faith in Jesus, our Lord.
