I am thinking of you today Theresa.  I have been looking through the picture album I kept through the years we worked with many friends at Shepherd Machinery.  Most of the photos show us eating !!! I found several photos with a lot of us together enjoying  all the food. The last time I remember seeing you was at my birthday celebration at my daughter's house with Sonja Jones in San Marino.  I was so happy you could come that day.  Looking forward to see you in our eternal home.  God love you.

I met Theresa about 30 years ago, and worked with her for several years at Shepherd Machinery.  I have fond memories with the whole   gang of us girls there.  She was always kind to everyone in the crowd.  I also remember that we took every chance to get together and eat, a lot,  celebrating something it seemed about once a week! We could always think of something to celebrate! All these memories of her are happy ones and since we were created eternal beings, no doubt we can all celebrate together again  someday in eternity!! May God Bless your family and give you His Peace!

I remember fondly the visits we Sheridan cousins enjoyed with the McCarthy family - the never-ending Monopoly games and the ball games on the front lawn and just spending time together. Although Theresa and I weren't close as we grew up, I know she was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.  I hope your many fond memories of Theresa console you in your grief. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, Jack Gaza, for your kind words  about Theresa. We were all shocked to hear of her passing.  She will be deeply missed by all of her siblings- brothers George  McCarthy (Susan), Neil McCarthy (Stephanie), sisters Sheila  Mitchell (Tom),  and Sharon  Shaw. Theresa  was preceded in death by her brother  Daniel  McCarthy  and brother-in-law  Bryan Shaw. 
Theresa brought such joy and laughter to our family with her great wit and wonderful laugh. Oh,  how we will miss her laugh!  Rest in peace, sweet sister.

I've known Theresa for many years from the Assistance League of Covina Valley,  where we were members.  She was one of the kindest persons I became friends with.  She always had a beautiful smile and referred to me as "Hun".  Whenever I saw her I would be so excited because she always had a happy face no matter what was happening. I will miss you my sweet friend.  May you rest in peace for Eternity and keep an eye out for us all from Heaven.

We were so shocked and saddened by this unexpected event. As cousins at opposite ends of the country it has been a long time since we have connected but the McCarthy cousins  were never far from our thoughts. Our sincerest condolences to the Compton family and Sharon, Sheila, George, and Neil. It is so hard to believe such a vibrant person like Theresa is gone. We send our love during this difficult time.

To the best Grandma, I’ll miss your smile and your spunky spirit the most. The amount of joy you brought into our lives each day was unmatched, and it truly kept our family going on even our darkest days.
