Thierry Lubenec was born on October 27th, 1961, to Daniel and Solange Lubenec. Several years later, he was followed by his siblings Isabelle and Oliver. They spent years together in France and then moved to Massachusetts. Shortly thereafter, their father left and moved back to France.
Thierry grew up in Millis, Massachusetts, where he met his best friend of 49 years at Millis High School, and where his interest and love for hockey grew for the Boston Bruins and his favorite player, Bobby Orr. He later moved to New York for work in finance.
Working with many people at Pershing, he had his eyes set on one, Debra Newell. They dated, got engaged, and then married. They both moved to Redondo Beach, California, where he grew his love for marine life and later had Jonathon Lubenec in 1991. Both Thierry and Debra decided to move to Hawthorne, California, and had their daughter, Monica Lubenec, in 1996. He became City Treasurer of Hawthorne, where he contributed his time and energy back to the community and church. He was involved in many clubs and groups, like AYSO and Lions Club. They lived together as a family until 2016, when Thierry moved to Florida.
He worked at Pershing/BNY Mellon for 41 years, from Los Angeles, CA, to Lake Mary, FL. He made friends who had the same interests in rock music and history in Massachusetts, who became his Florida family.
