Wayne, you were a great friend and a brother in the fire service. I think of you often and wish we could still share our adventures with each other. I’ll see you again…but not yet. 

Wayne and I became good friends when we met at a Juvenile Firesetter conference in San Diego back in 2008. We stayed in touch ever since. One time when I was taking a month long trip going coast to coast, we met up in Rancho Cucamonga. Then two years ago after Thanksgiving when I was at my parent’s he drove up for a day or so and we got to hang out together. 
My sincere condolences to the family and prayers for you.

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing.  All the PTA moms (and I think all the Staff) at Rio Hondo Elementary called him "Wonderful Wayne", a nickname he earned as a devoted parent to Ryan, volunteering in Ryan's classrooms  on his days off and always lending a hand at the PTA and school activities like the yearly carnival and Career Day.   Although its over 20 years ago, I have such fond memories of Wonderful Wayne and all the ways he made a positive difference in the lives of our children.  He will be missed.


Met Wayno through the Harrolds. Had the pleasure of representing him about 11 years ago, and stayed in touch mainly through email. A really nice guy. Will miss him.
