Wayne, my twin brother Ron, and I were great friends during our school days at Longfellow, Hamilton, and East High in Wichita.  We all had Wichita Eagle paper routes in the South end of town.  We all went every summer to watch the Wichita Indians play, a class A team, at Lawrence baseball stadium as part of the knot hole gang.  Wayne was a big fan of the St Louis Cardinals and my team was the Boston Braves.  Wayne and I played on the Bethany Church, city league, basketball and softball teams.  We took first place during our senior year of high school in basketball.   Wayne was a guard and I was a forward.  Wayne was our catcher on the softball team.  We lost touch after high school untill the last few years we talked on the phone.  We had a lot of good fun together in our younger days.  Untill we meet again.

Sad to hear of the passing of Wayne.  He was my first boss at the FDIC in South Pasadena, Ca.  Many of his former employees are still working together.  I and the other employees remember Wayne as a kind man and a good boss, as well as a good golfer.
