Shannon was born on December 21, 1956, and lived a life full of creativity, laughter, and deep appreciation for the outdoors. Her favorite place to be was near the water, fishing or around a campfire under the stars.
A gifted seamstress and artist, Shannon had a special talent for bringing fabric and thread to life through quilting and embroidery — skills she learned from her mother and honed throughout her life. She was also known for her homemade candy, beautiful gardens, and a knack for making any house feel like home.
Shannon had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor, often offering a clever comeback even in life’s toughest moments. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — especially a fresh homemade donut on a snowy day.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Terry Peterson; her children, Sara Nadon-Fitzpatrick, Courtney Caldwell (Tara), and Kyle Nadon (Pamela); and her grandchildren, Alex (Ana) Rodriguez, Lillian Fitzpatrick, Tristin Rowe, Kellen Wolf-Nadon, and Jaxon Wolf-Nadon. Shannon also leaves behind her siblings, Celia (Will), Kelly (Stu), Randy, Heather (Gordon), Dede (Mel), and Danny (Michelle), along with her beloved dog, Chaz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elma and Melvin Caldwell, and her brother, Brad Caldwell.
Shannon’s life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and creativity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Mom — we all love you.
