TANYA TOMEO (68) The Lord took our beloved Tanya Tomeo to himself on September 30, 2022. Tanya’s relationship with the Lord was a living one. Jesus Christ was the lover of her soul, and she walked with him and talked with him daily. She was a powerful prayer warrior and always prayed with passion, understanding and without fear. Tanya enjoyed sewing, powwows, gathering together with family and being involved with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Tanya Tomeo was a resident of Spokane, WA at the time of her passing. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Fawn Tomeo, and cherished son Damien and daughter-in-law, Misty (Stanger) Tomeo, all from Spokane, WA. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Hannah Tomeo, Alofatasi Tomeo, Kalani Desautel, Imesei Tomeo, Kiutenay Tomeo, Kolestah Tomeo, Keolani Curely. She leaves behind sister Philomena (Tomeo) & Delano Saluskin, Brother James & Elizabeth Tomeo, Sister Melanie (Tomeo) & Rocco Clark Sr., Brother Audon & Annette Tomeo, Sister Alma Tomeo & Angel (Tomeo) Sam and Josette (Tomeo) Paul Mail. She is preceded in death by her father, Willis Tomeo and Mother Rose (Paul) Tomeo. Brother Aaron Tomeo and Sisters Michaline Alice Tomeo, Andrea (Tomeo) Berna and Phyllis Tomeo Billings. Her Dressing and viewing was held in Grand Coulee, WA at Strate Funeral Home on October 5, 2022 and then she was moved to the Community Center in Nespelem, WA which is on her Reservation. Tanya Tomeo was an enrolled member of the Colville Confederated Tribe and descendant of the Yakama Nation and Nez Perce Tribe.
