Bertha Lee Moore

She was a member of Towering Oaks Baptist Church, where she was involved in many activities at the church.

Mrs. Moore retired from Magnavox.

She was a very loving and caring person who helped people in need anytime she could. She loved the mountains, the ocean, flowers, and doing for others. She will be missed by those who loved and cared for her.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law: Charlotte and Ray Kruger; special nieces: Brenda Jeffers and Betty Fannon, who were her caregivers; nephew: Jim Hice; nieces: Pamela Kruger and Penny Carrier; great nephew: Tommy Ray Harris; and a sister-in-law: Kathryn Moore of Johnson City.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Morris Moore; mother: Clarcy Lowery Bowman; nephew: Jackie Lee Hice; Walter and Sue Blankenship and Willie and Pollard Hice, with whom she made her home.

The family will receive friends from 1pm-3pm Tuesday, preceding the funeral service.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dennis Shumate officiating.

Interment will be in Cross Anchor Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the Encouragers Class of Towering Oaks.

Her honorary pallbearer is Kenny Ray.
