

She was a housewife.
Mrs. Dunbar was a member of the First Church of Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband and best friend for 60 years: Walter Dunbar; two sons: Jerry Dunbar and Jackie Dunbar, both of Greeneville; three daughters and a son-in-law: Joyce Pounders, Darlene Kelly, both of Greeneville; Sandra “Kay” and Michael Gunter of Madison County, NC; two special grandchildren: Angela Williams and Terry Deyton; other grandchildren: Sherry Gross, Tracie Dunbar, Crystal Smith, Melissa Shiflet, Michael Gunter, Jamie Dunbar, Jeremey Dunbar, Shawn Dunbar; a special great grandchild: Dakota Williams; twelve other great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Freddie Katherine Shores of Greeneville; a sister and brother-in-law: Linda and Harley Crawford of Greeneville; sister-in-law: Alfrieda Story of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Turner Story and Lucy Walker Shores and was preceded in death by a special granddaughter, Lisa Kay Shelton; one brother, Johnny Story.
The funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Stephen Rutherford will officiate. Intement will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery (city).
Pallbearers will be Michael Crum, Frankie Crum, Jimmy Shiflet, William Dunbar, Ronald Shelton, Chris Shelton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Smith, Dakota Williams, Harley Crawford.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
