

Mr. Hope was a machinist. He was an employee of Kaydon Corp. in shipping/receiving and the machine shop for 43 years.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Billy was a loving husband of 48 years. He was a member of the Debusk Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved his animals.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years: Norma Hope; sisters and brother-in-law: Mary and Charles Kite of Bulls Gap and Carolyn Helton of Bean Station; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jewell Riddle and Charles Crisp of Moore, South Carolina, Billy and Mary Jones of Morristown, Mickey and Charlotte Jones of Greeneville, and Grant and Toni Jones of Brandon, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Jasper and Margaret Hope and was preceded in death by a brother, Lanny Hope.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Sen and staff, who were very nice to us during our time of care.
The family will receive friends 10am to 2pm Friday preceding the funeral service.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Friday, November 29, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Troy Cutshall officiating.
Interment will be in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
