Raymond had the unique ability to be everyone’s friend, advisor, and pastor. He was a faithful minister of the gospel for more than 25 years, pastoring Van Hill Free Will Baptist Church and Mt. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Greeneville. He has been serving there for the past 18 years. Raymond sincerely loved his Lord Jesus and his church family and wanted everyone to know his Lord!
His hands not only carried his Bible, but embraced the love of his life, Denise Styer Perry, and their three children. He enjoyed the Lord’s creation and spent all the time he could outdoors on the farm, in his work shop creating beautiful woodwork, or fishing when the work load allowed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years: Denise Styer Perry; son and daughter-in-law: Dale and Rebekah Perry; two daughters: Sara Perry and Callie Perry; expected granddaughter: Ava Kate Perry; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Raymond and Sara Styer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Sammy and Corrine Ore, John and Melissa Styer, Mark and Shannon Styer; several nieces and nephews; and one great nephew.
He was the son of the late Charles and Marlene Perry.
