

He was retired from NCR Morristown and was Senior Job Placement Coordinator for First Tennessee Human Resources.
Mr. Bell was a member of the Elks Club and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Whittenburg United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Nancy Doud Bell; a son and daughter-in-law: Donnie and Delores Bell; a daughter: Janey Leake; a stepson: Leland Austin and wife, Jessica, all of Greeneville; four grandchildren: Sabrina Rohr, Sarah Bowers, Dylan Leake and Susan Bell; three step-grandchildren: Amber Austin, Kevin Dotson and Hannah Dotson; a sister and brother-in-law: Ruth and Dean Heaton; three brothers and sisters-in-law: James and Brenda Doud of Cleveland, OH; Sammy and Mary Doud, Joseph and Jill Doud; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: David and Naomi George, Dan and Bonnie Morgan.
He was the son of the late Herbert and Arlene Bell and was preceded in death by a brother, Fred
Bell.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at Whittenburg U M Church. Rev. Sam Smith and Rev. John Pursley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Sauceman, Anthony Sauceman, Steve Hale, James Grigsby, Gene Sauceman, and Sam Gray.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Hogan, Randy Pointer, Harold Ottinger, and David Toby.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his home health care providers, the nurses, physicians, and staff of the Johnson City Medical Center, and to his long time physician, Dr. Michael Hartsell.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
