Carolyn J. Myers

She retired from Philips Consumer Electronics, formerly Magnavox.

Ms. Myers was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.

She was a charter member of the Ladies of the Moose and was a 50 year member of Greeneville Chapter #223 Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her brother: Joe Myers; sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty and Brab Gregg, Becky and Ronnie Williams, Catherine Myers, and Henry “Doc” Hope, all of Greene County; guardian angel daughter: Sarah Adams of Greeneville; aunt: Wanza Jones of Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Rena Myers and was preceded in death by a brother: Billy G. Myers; sister: Joyce Myers Hope; sister-in-law: Agnes “Peg” Myers; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends 2pm-4pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5pm Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw and Pastor Cindy Paxton officiating.

Interment will follow in Myers Cemetery.

Her pallbearers will be Bart Gregg, Cody Brobeck, Mick Myers, Heath Pruitt, Melvin Harrison, and Richard Adams.

The members and attendees of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
