Clifford Carter

He was retired from Pet Milk Co. He was a devoted husband to Virginia Carter for 55 years. Clifford enjoyed farming with his great nephew who was like his son, Zachary (Brandy) Crawford.

In Addition to his wife and great nephew he is survived by his brothers: Benny Carter, Ernest Carter (Marie), Ralph Carter (Debra); sisters: Betty Stout (Gary), Susie King and Stella Joyner (Robert); brothers-in-law: Doyle Carter, Nathan Carter, Mark Carter and Carroll Carter; sisters-in-law: Nancy Carter, Christine Seay, Linnis Wright, Eva Carter, Janetta Shipley; special great nephew: Cahleb Crawford; special niece and nephews: Angel Crawford, John Lee Gregg, Paul Carter, Cody Carter and Chad Foulks.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John Jay Carter and Elizabeth Neoma Carter, brother: Elmer Andrew Carter; nephew: Andy Andrew Carter; great nephew: David Austin Gregg; brothers-in-law: Roger Wright. Jackie Seay, and Roger (Bubba) Shipley; mother and father-in-law: Lillian and Billie Hubert Carter.

Pallbearers will be: Zachary Crawford, Cahleb Crawford, Ernest Carter, Cody Carter, Paul Carter and Doyle Carter.

There will be no formal services at this time.
