David was born to the late Joseph and Lois Lucille Jeffers Ferris on January 8, 1961 in Marshall County, KY. He was christened in the Catholic faith.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Ann Ferris and maternal grandparents, Jacob Franklin and Pearl Frye Jeffers; his sisters, Brenda Burkeen and Tina Cole.
David is survived by his brother, Joseph Ferris, III; sisters, Linda (Charlie) Hayden and Rita Witherspoon of Paducah, KY; Theressa Brown of Symsonia, KY; loving aunt, Shirley Jeffers, with whom he made his home; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
As a “precious” little boy, David came to Tennessee to live with his maternal grandparents and remained in Tennessee throughout his life.
David was blessed to have had incredible caregivers, special friend, Patsy Story; his aunt, Shirley Jeffers and the caring and concerned doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and staff at Tusculum Family Physicians.
Although David’s leaving causes us pain and grief, his going has eased his hurt and given him relief. David knew that his family loved him and we are certain that he is with his heavenly Father.
