He was born January 14, 1940 to the late Lewis Arthur and Mary Elizabeth (Hardy) Morrison.
He is survived by David L. Morrison Jr. (Andrea), Russell Morrison (Cindy), Christine Miller, Roseanne Malchiodi; two step-sons: Darryll Dudley (Jennifer) and Kern Dudley (Marlo Masengill); 9 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Services will be at Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church, 710 Asheville Hwy., Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
