

Charles "David" Raith, of Greeneville, Tennessee, passed away on August 26th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 27th, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and he made his home for most of his years in Statesboro, Georgia, before moving to Greeneville nine years ago.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Liz Raith; his two children, Charles David Raith II (Ansley) and Mindy Raith Brown (Lee); and his eleven grandchildren – Addie, Ellee, Charles, Sam, Paul, Elijah, Lizzie, Zeb, Edie, Alex, and Thomas – each of whom brought him great joy and pride.
He was a longtime member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Statesboro, where he served as a deacon, and in recent years was a member of Arrowhead Church in Greeneville.
Over the years David owned his own construction company and was an avid woodworker. He also loved music and spending time with his family playing board games.
David will be remembered for his steadfast faith and his deep love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know him.
A service to celebrate David’s life will be held at Arrowhead Church on August 29th at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00-2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Arrowhead Church.
