Eddie Gregg

Eddie was born to the late Mary Gregg Vest on April 25, 1945, in Greeneville, Tennessee, and he married Irene Lane on October 15, 1966.

Eddie attended Lincolnwood Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois.

He was employed by Amerock for 38 years before retiring.

He enjoyed camping and had a passion for antiques.

Eddie is survived by his son, Tim (Linda) Gregg, and daughter, Tammy Gregg, of Rockford, IL; three grandchildren, Alia, Kaylee, and Zelda Robertson of Rockford, IL; brother, Johnny (Melissa) Vest; four sisters, Elizabeth (Sam) Gray, Billie Jo Vest, Judy Vest, and Lisa Laney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Gregg; mother, Mary Vest; brother, Jimmy Vest; brothers-in-law, Louis Eggers and Larry Hickman; and son-in-law, James Robertson.

The family will receive friends 1-2pm, Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Ther funeral service will be conducted at 2pm in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tommy Melton.

Interment will follow at Doty’s Chapel Cemetery.
