

He retired as an environmental supervisor for the state of Tennessee.
Mr. Rupert was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law: Fredna and Bobby Cornwell of Greeneville; special cousins: J.C., Kitten, and Tanya Hensley of Tusculum, L.C. and Mildred Bowers, and Kendall and Frankie Bowers; extra special cousin: Carolyn Rupert of Greeneville; several cousins; special caregivers: his angels, Laura Anders and Judy Anderson of Mohawk and Shirley Craft of Bulls Gap.
He was the son of the late John Wesley and Nellie Ruth Hawk Rupert and was preceded in death by his wife, Chassie Ruth Collins Rupert, who passed away February 9, 2014.
The family will receive friends from 12pm-2:30pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2:30pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lynn Neas and Rev. Tommy Collins officiating.
Entombment will be in the GreeneLawn Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Gregg Bowman, Kendall Bowers, L.C. Bowers, Charles Shelton, Sean Wheeler, and Rick Williams.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Seay and Chris Anderson.
