

General was a member of Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
He was a US Army Veteran, and also a former employee of WeavX and an electrician.
Our dad was our hero. We never questioned if he loved or cared for his family.
He is survived by three daughters, Benita (Vince) McDonald, Kathy (John) Tittle, and Melissa Fisher; grandchildren, Josh (Christina) Sauceman, Bryan (Holly) Sauceman, Tabatha (Chris) Cutshall, Matt (Anika) Smith, Shawna (Dylan) Gorrell, Dakota Fisher, Jerrica Fisher, Sydney McDonald, and Emily McDonald; great-grandchildren; Liam Sauceman, Emilia Sauceman, Ezra Sauceman, Lillian Sauceman, Hunter Cutshall, Liam Smith, Knox Smith, and Emberlee Demay Smith; a brother, Jerry Devoti; and a sister, Sandra Sherbet.
General is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Rose (Fann) Devoti, and siblings, Bennie Devoti, Lloyd (Guy) Devoti, Mary Devoti, Caroline Devoti Shelton, and Daney Devoti.
The family will receive friends at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 1pm-3pm and 5pm-8pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
A military graveside service, officiated by Rev. Tommy K. Pierce III, will be conducted by the Greene County Honor Guard and the TN National Guard Funeral Honors Team at 2pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Family and Friends are asked to meet at 1pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers are Josh Sauceman, Bryan Sauceman, John Tittle, Vince McDonald, Matt Smith, Dylan Gorrell, and Dakota Fisher.
Tommy Casteel is an Honorary Pallbearer.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Donna Williams and the Doctors and Staff at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.
