

He was a janitor for MECO.
Mr. Wallace was a member of Union Free Will Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
His hobbies were painting, drawing, watching Nascar and collecting Nascar memorabilia.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years: Christine Wallace; daughter and son-in-law: April Deanna and Jonas Cansler of Greeneville; three grandchildren: Tara McNutt and Heaven and Christian Cansler; two brothers: Lloyd Wallace of Greeneville and Jackie Wallace of Florida; two sisters: Shirley Davis and Kathy Carter of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edgar and Ruey Amanda Wallace, and a brother, Alvin Wallace.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sid Barkley officiating.
Interment will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday in River Hill Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be the members of Union Free Will Baptist Church.
