

He retired from Kraft Foods and was a farmer.
Mr. Dunn attended Limestone Free Will Baptist Church as long as his health permitted.
Survivors include his wife: Roberta Dunn; son and daughter-in-law: Bobby and Tamera “Jo Jo” Dunn of Afton; daughter and son-in-law: Sandra and Dean Landers of Afton; grandchildren: William Dunn and spouse Melody, Doug Dunn and spouse Lisa, Renae Helm and spouse Robert of Jonesborough, Michelle Covington and spouse Dwayne, Aaron Landers and Scott McGhee of Washington, DC, Holli Dunn Gregg; great grandchildren: Daniel and David Dunn, Austin and Ethan Dunn, Jadda and Averi Gregg, Christen Myers, Kurt Johnson, Brandon Roberts, Lexis Covington, Nicholas Landers, Dylan and Peyton Helm; sister: Frances Ward of Greeneville; brother and sister-in-law: Lyle and Maxine Dunn of Greeneville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Quentin and Lena Sams of Greeneville, Alice Peters of Tusculum, Willie Good of the Green Shed Community in Chuckey, and Erma Dunn of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late B.J. and Iva Loyd Dunn and was preceded in death by seven sisters: Beatrice Sams, Phyllis Dunn, Martha Kirkpatrick, Willie Kate Seaton, Grace McMillian, Irene Evans, and Shelby Good; three brothers: Wayne, Tom, and Harry Dunn; and a grandson: Jimmy Dean Landers.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2012 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Alfred Cutshall officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Afton.
His pallbearers will be his great grandchildren.
Dr. Michael O’Dell, Wanda Foulks, and the staff of Caris Hospice will serve as honorary pallbearers.
