Janet Love

On Saturday, March 16th, 2024, Janet Sue Love, 78, of Greeneville, TN moved to her heavenly home. Janet was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.

Janet was born on August 23rd, 1945, to the late Kenneth and Hazel Leach in Muncie, IN. She taught in the Greeneville City School System for 30 years. Janet also actively served in her church, Cedar Creek Church of God. She had a heart for missions, ministering on trips to Ecuador and Mexico. She loved her community, was a cheerful tour guide through Downtown Greeneville, and was a member of the Andrew Johnson Club.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of 34 years: Harold Love; her loving children Katy (Raz) Axente of Marietta, GA, Shane Love of Panama City, FL, Kent (Lisa) Love of Apollo Beach, FL, and her daughter-in-law Jackie Love. Her loving grandchildren Kristen (Daniel) Cooke of Greeneville, TN, Aaron (Laurel) Love of Baileyton, TN, Collin Love of Apollo Beach, FL, and Noah (Claire) Love of Philadelphia, PA, Isaac and Sophia Axente of Marietta, GA, and her great grandchildren Dawson and Killian Cooke of Greeneville, TN. Her brother Gary (Joni) Leach of Hardeeville, SC and her nephew Jamison Leach of Indianapolis, IN.

Pallbearers will include Aaron Love, Daniel Cooke, Collin Love, Noah Love, Gary Waddell, and Bill Wilds.

The family will receive friends at Kiser-Rose Hill funeral home on Monday, March 18th from 4:00pm-7:00pm and on Tuesday, March 19th from 12:00pm-2:00pm.

The funeral service will follow the visitation on Tuesday at 2:00pm with Pastors Dwayne Pierce and Sam Chaffin officiating.

The graveside service will follow immediately after at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
