

She was employed by The SEFA Group for 20 years until her health would not allow her to continue.
Joan was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She dearly loved going to the lake and beach, enjoying family and friends. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, and “Nana”. She was our best friend and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 46 wonderful years together: Albert Romanowski; two daughters and sons-in-law: Kris and John Lucchesi of Johnson City, Whitney and Brent Comer of Conway, South Carolina; two grandchildren: John “L J” and Kara Lucchesi; mother: Gladys Renner; sister and brother-in-law: Glenna and Butch Hicks; and nephew: Cy Hawk.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn D. Renner.
The family will receive friends 1-3 and 4-6 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 6 pm Thursday, September 24, 2015, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Stuart Albee officiating.
Pallbearers will be Steve Louderback, Tony Williams, Wayne McCamey, Mike Naggs, Jim Clayton, and Mike Noel.
Honorary Pallbearers are her golfing buddies at Link Hills.
The family wished to express a special thank you to her doctors, Dr. Brad Strange, Dr. Thomas Johnson, Dr. Kyle Colvett, Dr. John Kirkpatrick, Dr. Allan Friedman, Dr. Dharmen Patel, who all made it possible for her to have eight more wonderful years. A very special thanks to Craig Rhyne and the staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice.

The family will host a Celebration of Joan’s Life on Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 3-6 pm at Link Hills Country Club. Family and friends are invited to attend.
