

Mr. Dunbar retired from the former Doehler-Jarvis.
He was of the Baptist tradition of faith.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years: Jane Hammer Dunbar; a daughter and son-in-law: Glenna and Jerry Smith of Greeneville; three sons and daughters-in-law: Jerry and Connie Dunbar, and David Dunbar and his fiancée, Chantelle Cavalier, all of Limestone, Tony Dunbar and his fiancée, Beth Ketron, of Kingsport; his grandchildren and their spouses: Lee Ann and Les Woods of Morristown, Jerry Wayne and Tracy Mooney of Jonesborough, Bobby Joe Mooney, Stevie "Trump" Wyatt, and Ashley Wyatt, all of Johnson City, James Dunbar and Tiffany Dunbar, both of Limestone, and Christopher and Ashley Lilly Dunbar, Brandy and Josh Morelock, Wesley Dunbar, Dylan Dunbar, Jacob Dunbar, Jessie Dunbar, David "Pettie" Dunbar, Connie and Jason Brown, Brian Keene, and Carol Ann Arnold, all of Kingsport; 10 great-grandchildren; his twin sister and brother-in-law: Joy and Jim Belt of Limestone; two brothers and a sister-in-law: J.C. Dunbar and Tommy and Della Dunbar, all of the South Central community; a brother-in-law: Tiney Hammer of Bluff City; several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Estel Coffie and family, Tommy and Martha Quinn and family, Bill and Shelly Johnson, Barbara Nelson, Kyle and Connie Moore, Craig Rhyne, and Billy Smith.
He was a son of the late Joe and Ina Raines Dunbar and was preceded in death by four sisters: Dixie Watts, Betty Duncan, Ruby Waddle, and an infant.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Craig Ponders will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning in Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stevie Wyatt, Jerry Mooney, Ricky Dunbar, Bill Smith, Wesley Dunbar, and Jerry Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Moore, Dr. Michael Hartsell, Dr. Dharmen Patel and staff, and the nurses and staff of Laughlin Home Health Care.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to help defray funeral expense.
