She was a homemaker.
Kimmie was of the Catholic faith.
She coached baseball and softball with the Ottway Ruritan and was always involved with her children in sports.
Kimmie was her children’s biggest fan.
Survivors include her father: Hal Carlson; two children: Jaden Whitehead and Destani Bailey; and special friends: John Bailey, Angie and Kent Aiken, Jeff and Lisa Reaves, and Marilyn and Billy Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Carlson.
The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kent Aiken officiating.
Interment will be at 12 Noon Saturday in Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11 am Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nick Aiken, John Bailey, Jeff Reaves, Nick McAmis, Doug Babb, and Jody Massey.
