Mr. Key was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
He was a U. S. Army veteran.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Stacy and Amy Key, Bradley and Christy Key;
grandchildren: Nicole Key, Charity Howlett and husband, Chris, Cameron Key, Caleb Key, Landon McAmis, and Thomas Freshour; a great granddaughter: Chloe Key; three sisters: Kathy Solomon and husband, David, Patsy Wilson and husband, Ray, and Wanda Foulks and husband, Don; brother: Gary Key; several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Dent and Betty Key.
The family will receive friends 2-6 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 6 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Jones
officiating.
Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Concord Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Key, Caleb Key, Chris Howlett, Joe Colby, Matthew Solomon and Nick Lima.
