Larry "Butch" Willis

He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife: Barbara Hensley Willis; two daughters: Gloria Willis and Ginger Haulse of Maryland; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Kathy and Clarence Denny and Lois Nelson of Chuckey; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Rev. Danny and Alice Willis of Chuckey and Lanny and Alice Willis of Greeneville; four stepsons: Lynn Bolton of Mosheim, Tim, David and Bryan Bolton of Greeneville; four grandchildren of Maryland: Kris, Tom, Hannah, and Zack; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special pet companion: Callie.

He was the son of the late Paul Willis and Gertrude Earley and was preceded in death by four brothers: Sammy, Mack, Joe, and Shorty Willis; and four sisters: Arzella Payne, Louise Malone, Linda Boles, and Pauline Willis.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be hled at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Danny Willis and Rev. Charles Morgan, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Liberty Hill United Methodist Cemetery.

His pallbearers will be Junior Myers, Dennis Willis, Tim, Lynn, David, and Bryan Bolton.

Donnie Crum, Timothy Bolton, Brandon Bolton, James Earl, and Gary Lindsey will serve as honorary pallbearers.
